ICON Vehicle Dynamics is excited to announce the addition of CDEV-equipped versions of our 2.5 and 3.0 Series Performance Shocks and Coilovers to our complete line of suspension systems and upgrades for 2022 and up Toyota Tundra, as well as corresponding additions to our complete suspension system "Stage" kits.

ICON's cutting edge Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV), powered by the amazing ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) module, is the pinnacle of lightining-fast, on-the-fly suspension adjustment that instantly optimizes shock performance for every change in speed and terrain. Set your custom parameters or use a variety of pre-loaded performance profiles via the ICON app on your phone, which communicates wirelessly to the IIC control module via Bluetooth.

These CDEV-equipped components complement ICON's existing, comprehensive line of suspension products for Ford Super Duty, which already includes performance front coil and rear leaf springs for a variety of lift heights, performance suspension links and radius arm conversions, performance shock absorbers, and up to 6 Stages of complete suspension systems. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. Series 2.5” remote reservoir coilover shocks w/ CDCV are an incredible upgrade for the front end of the 2022 and newer Toyota Tundra. ICON’s Vehicle-specific valving provides a sport tuned feel on and off-road while offering 1-3” of lift height adjustability for use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. ICON's larger 2.5” shock body and increased piston area over stock components provides improved damping ability and outstanding ride characteristics across varying types of terrain. Remote reservoirs ensure optimum performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping regardless of situation, keeping the shocks at a cooler operating temperature during heavy use. The ICON CDEV with IIC (sold separately) provides on-the-fly, user configurable suspension tuning that reacts in real time, further enhancing the venicle's off-road speed, control and comfort through any terrain.

22-23 TOYOTA TUNDRA 2.5 CDEV REAR SHOCKS

ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks with CDEV are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON'S unique use of a 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. The ICON CDEV with IIC (sold separately) provides on-the-fly, user configurable suspension tuning that reacts in real time, further enhancing the venicle's off-road speed, control and comfort through any terrain.

22-23 TOYOTA TUNDRA 3.0 CDEV FRONT COILOVERS

ICON 3.0 Series Coilovers with CDEV are designed to take the off-road capability of the 2022 and newer Toyota Tundra to new levels by increasing wheel travel and significantly improving the damping ability of the front shocks. Compared to the 2.5” diameter coilovers the 3.0 Series shocks see a piston surface area increase of 50% in the ride zone, and 100% in the “Bump Zone”. This translates into increased stability and vehicle control at the extremes of off-road use, with benefits also making themselves apparent in on-road driving conditions. The multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone featured in these 3.0 Series shocks exponentially increases bottom-out resistance as the shock travels through the last 40% of travel, keeping vehicle dynamics in check during those hard hits or unexpected obstacles. The ICON CDEV with IIC (sold separately) provides on-the-fly, user configurable suspension tuning that reacts in real time, further enhancing the venicle's off-road speed, control and comfort through any terrain.

22-23 TOYOTA TUNDRA 3.0 CDEV REAR SHOCKS

 

ICON's 3.0 Series Rear Shocks are designed to take the off-road capability of the 2022 and newer Toyota Tundra to new levels by increasing wheel travel by up to 20% and significantly improving the damping ability of the rear shocks, while being compatible with rear lift heights up to 1" over stock. 3.0 Series shocks boast 50% more piston surface area compared to 2.5 Series shocks. This translates into increased stability and vehicle control at the extremes of off-road use, with benefits also making themselves apparent in on-road driving conditions. Increased internal oil volume and more external surface area compared to 2.5 Series Shocks offer improved heat dissipation and resistance to shock fade under hard use. The ICON CDEV with IIC (sold separately) provides on-the-fly, user configurable suspension tuning that reacts in real time, further enhancing the venicle's off-road speed, control and comfort through any terrain.

22-23 TOYOTA TUNDRA IIC MODULE & INSTALL KIT

ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) is the computer that monitors, analyzes, and processes data in real-time. Information from the onboard G-force sensor and Gyroscope perform calculations based on algorithms and user-defined settings to predict terrain and wheel position. IIC has the capability to collect information at over 1000 times per second, process the data and make adjustments, then deliver those changes to Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) in the shock absorbers in under 40 milliseconds. IIC also works as a data driver to connect the user to ICON’s proprietary mobile App interface for monitoring and adjusting shock settings. The IIC is mounted to the 2022 and newer Toyota Tundra using application specific mounting brackets, hardware and wire harnesses, ensuring an easy and clean looking install.

  • Offers selectable active shock damping adjustment as well as manual adjustment of baseline settings without exiting vehicle
